IT ALL ENDS HERE
Ahh IT ALL ENDS. And what a bold way to portray the ending of this grand series of novels written by the infamous J.K. Rowling. Of course when considering the exact story line of the book, it wasn't always right on track, however the biggest points of the final chapters of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows were achieved through this Yates film. I would have liked to have seen certain parts that were portrayed in the book to be of course, exactly right, but then again this was also a book written for reading and not for the screen so adapting that can be a very hard task to accomplish without having billions of Harry Potter fans running at you with pitchforks, so I applaud Yates for his difficult achievement. Being a huge fan of the books first and growing to love the films second, I am overall content with the way the films played out. Filming the last book within two parts was a marvelous idea considering the director changes as well as story line/characters throughout the films that had been omitted or cut out altogether. If you haven't seen this film yet, get ready for a good 45 minutes of off and on tears. The books sadness is enhanced astoundingly when watching it on screen. Being so close to the characters throughout my childhood years, of course I would get emotional at some point throughout this film with all the casualties happening. Also, if you haven't seen any of the earlier films or at least part 1 please do so before watching part 2. I would assume confusion to anyone who didn't know the story as well as I did before watching the last installment. Such a sad thing for it to be over and for me to finally have to grow up, but please, go buy a ticket for this film and help it reach the ultimate goal of largest domestic grossing film of all time! It's well on its way as we speak.

Horrible Bosses meets Something Borrowed
Oh the hilarity! Horrible Bosses was one of the funnier comedies let into theaters so far this year and I love Sudeikis and Bateman. The trio works really well together with getting the right bit of funny to be heard and Day is absolutely hilarious! I cannot wait to see him in other comedies such as this one. A really good mixture of funny with these three. Although it's not necessarily making you laugh your ass off in every scene, it is definitely worth your money to watch on the big screen. Kudos!

I was interested more on how this film would end rather then the actual story line and actors that played within the film, but Something Borrowed could have ended a lot better then it did. John Krasinski was a straight-up babe that cared for Rachel loads more then the other tool she was in love with. Oh.. chick flicks. Sometimes they're just straight-up dumb. Who sleeps with their best friends fiancee?? I mean for real.. that's Charles Manson crap.. evil stuff. Anyway, it kept my interest but I'm just upset with the ending. There's definitely a good grouping of chick flicks but most of them are a waste of time. This one, was just kind of sitting on the in between. Watch it if you wish!

How to Rob a Bank and the Vampire's Assistant
An interesting take on all of the vampire rage as of late, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant shows not only the view of a vampire, but a view on other dysfunctional people such as a monkey girl, a bearded lady, or a woman who can grow back arms - talk about FREAKY. John C. Reilly always seems to be repulsive although charming all at the same time and I never seem to know how or why, but I always enjoy watching him on the tube. Interesting film, but a cut-off ending. Leaves you hanging with the story with not a whole ending to what you may view as a battle of friendship would end. Either way, the comedic reliefs in the film were quite amusing.

Interesting story line with an intriguing plot, but where does the acting come into play? How to Rob a Bank was a good idea for a movie that was put into the wrong hands for cast choice and screenplay direction. About half way through I wanted my friend to turn it off/change the channel. Always they seemed to be talking on the phone and it was irritating the fire out of me. This isn't acting. This is phone chatter, which is not real acting in the film-making industry. DUH. Use these two hours that you would be watching this film and save it for a loved one. It's not worth your time.

Being Bad!
Another Michael Cera comedy and another reason to constantly laugh away every stress you have! Love him and love how this film is made. The uncourageous and unbold Michael Cera falls in love and will do anything to keep her, and in doing so, has to get out of his comfort zone to become the courageous and bold and in doing so, he creates an alter-ego that's incredibly "bad" to do the dirty work for him and it eventually takes a turn for the worst. I own this one. Such hilarity!

Bad Teacher? More like.. Lazy Ass Teacher. Cameron Diaz plays a beautiful woman in a not so beautiful life is it all tends to fall apart and her having to go back to the one place she didn't care to stay. Competing for bonuses and raising money for car washes for her new boob job, you could definitely say she's bad, but in turn just a selfish bitch! Humorous at parts, but I was expecting more from Diaz and Segel, although I couldn't help staring at Segel the whole time. The nicer guy always seems more attractive then the so called "good-looking" one. Watch it for a decent size laugh if you wish and I'd just wait till it hits the dollar movies.

Treasure Planet and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The third installment of the Harry Potter film fiasco, the Prisoner of Azkaban is one of my favorite stories of the Harry Potter series with the introduction of Sirius Black into the story, who just so happens to be my favorite character. Well.. it's a battle between him and Severus Snape. Anyway, in accordance to being dedicated to making the film match the book, this was one of the better ones. In a sense during the film you kind of feel like you watch it through twice due to the fact of the Time Turner Hermione has. I really do enjoy watching this one though. The werewolf transformation is stunning.

Watching this as a kid, Treasure Planet made you dream enormous amounts. Re-watching as an adult is really eye-opening once again. Such cute characters and sense of depth and imagination with the animation work. Not only is it a stunning thing to rest your eyes on, but it also captures your heart with the story-line. It's really just beautiful, and the kids will love it!

The Dark of the Moon Across the Universe
Yet another Transformers film, and that means another two and a half hours of nonstop action. I guess that's cool if you like that sort of thing, but for me, I'd rather have a well put together film as well as screenplay with really moving actors. Transformers: Dark of the Moon pretty much was exactly what you could truly want in a film: decent actors and a well written screenplay, but what's with the destruction sequences that never end? You could have easily cut out around 30 to 45 minutes of the action sequence at the end, and you would have had probably one of the best films of the year! Nope.. too long and I couldn't wait for it to end. I guess I'm just not a big enough fan of the transformers story to want more action sequences.

Across the Universe. A really incredible ode to the Beatles. Beautiful singers, beautiful people, and a beautiful way of creating the hard struggles in the 70's with the Vietnam War. To be completely honest, I never listened to the Beatles till I watched this film and got a hold of the great soundtrack that comes with it! I personally do not own this film, but it is now on my list to purchase. I had watched this film for the first time on DVD at my friend Arielle's around the time of its releasing but I had forgotten how great this movie really was. If you haven't seen it, give it a try and watch it. It's a bit on the strange side of film-making but really well put together.
