A First Class, A Maze, and A Son

Another midnight show! And this one's definitely a winner!

X-Men First Class was not only the best X-Men film ever made, but also, in my opinion, one of the best films of the year so far! The cinematography, special effects, and powers of the mutants really blew me away as a moviegoer. Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Men and his father just so happens to be in this one, which is really nice to see red smoke instead of blue! Having said that, the cast was greatly chosen and the mutants powers are even more creative! And when mastered by the end of the film, you wish you were a mutant. Finally seeing the division between Magneto and Professor X was a really a nice change of pace with all of the other X-Men films. Well done! And I cannot wait to see this one again!

When me and my best friend Megan chose to watch a classic horror tale, it was quite a nice change a pace with this film called The Maze. Netflix is wonderful when it comes to getting access to movies such as this. No monsters were shown until the very end! Just footprints and mystery keep you guessing throughout the entire film. The acting was pretty good too! I definitely enjoyed this one :) Have at it!

Me and Megan also watched The Good Son. I personally enjoy watching Elijah Wood on screen whether it be young or old. Very easy on the eyes for a girl like me. Anyway, Culkin was masterful in this film! What a creepy bloke! Dang.. I'd never want to get near him and what evil ran through this kids veins! A very thrilling movie if you're interested in suspense sometime. I'd suggest it.
